Software Version 5.5 supplied on USB stick.  The PLUS version is a paid software upgrade from the regular Spyder5Elite. Upgrading to the newest 0 version....which appears is mainly faster at calibrating.  Got the new one Mar31.  Same results as the 5 unit .....just faster doing the calibration, which is what the maker claimed too.
    Monitor calibration and environmental conditions that you evaluate color under is the most important link in processing photos properly.  If your monitor is not properly calibrated....you can't actually get correct color, so a monitor calibrator is probably the most important item in your digital color workflow.
